Behind the Scenes: Jouell Wright Talks Music, Crypto and Financial Markets

What happens behind the music we love? On KSSU’s Behind the Scenes, host Jouell Wright explores that question through conversations with people shaping entertainment and culture. Behind the Scenes creates a space for music conversations as well as a learning environment to gain knowledge about financial markets, crypto, AI and emerging tech.

Wright’s interviewing style is relaxed and fun, but intentional. Rather than rushing from one topic to the next, she gives her guest room to explain the choices, challenges and opportunities that have shaped their journey. That approach makes the conversation feel less like a formal interview and more like a genuine exchange, one that students and aspiring creatives can appreciate.

Behind The Scenes is not only a fun music show, but with live interviews held, it’s also a show you can learn from, which increases the value. Join the show live via social media or at kssu.com. You may also tune into past interviews on YouTube: BehindTheScenes_KSSU – YouTube or via Instagram: @BehindTheScenesKSSU

The themes reflect the mission of Jouell Wright’s Behind the Scenes program. The show brings listeners closer to the people behind headlines, songs and careers, while reminding audiences that success is rarely immediate or accidental, but intentional. Every accomplishment has a story of practice, setbacks and perseverance behind it. So be sure to tune in, learn, be inspired and have fun.

As host, Jouell Wright gives KSSU a platform where those stories can be heard with clarity and personality. Her conversations demonstrate the strength of student-run radio and give guests a welcoming place to share their perspectives. You may tune in every Tuesday live on KSSU.com from 3–4 PM to hear Jouell Wright. For anyone interested in music, media, or personal growth, Behind the Scenes is a reminder to look beyond the final product and appreciate the work behind it.
