Blues on The Green

WHAT: “Blues On The Green” Free Spring Concert 

WHEN: Friday, April 17th, 2026. 4:00 pm6:00 pmm   

WHERE: CSUS Campus -Between Library Quad & Capistrano Hall (School of Music Building)

The Sac State School of Music will also get into the act by providing a specially chosen group of faculty (led by Dr. Scott Perkins, Director of the School of Music, and Steve Roach, Director of Jazz Studies) and student players following our ShoeBox Session duo. 

This event is in collaboration with ASI Food Pantry, Sacramento Blues Society, and The Renaissance Society. 

KSSU will be providing Sound support for this event and will have a Table for donations 

The Renaissance Society is a 2000-member strong group of lifelong learners. Created in 1986, the member-driven organization is celebrating forty years of intellectual curiosity, appreciating diversity, and building community through a vast program of seminars, forums, and events both on campus and by Zoom.

If you’d like to help us fundraise, we are currently acepting in person and mailed donations

Donations can be made in person at the ASI student shop on the third floor of the University Union.

The Student Shop is Open Monday – Friday, 9:00 am - 4:00 pm 

You can donate using a credit card, check, or cash. 

Just let the staff know you are there to donate to KSSU
